XGRIDS K2 Battery for the Lixel K2 Handheld 3D Scanner
XGRIDS K2 Battery — a replaceable power source for the XGRIDS Lixel K2 handheld 3D scanner, which ensures device operation during spatial data collection. The battery is installed in the lower part of the scanner and secured with a mechanical latch. A light indicator is provided to monitor the remaining charge, while a full charging cycle takes approximately 2 hours.
Installation and Preparation for Use
The battery is inserted into the lower part of the XGRIDS Lixel K2. Before installation, press the latch, insert the battery fully, and after releasing the latch, check that it is securely fixed in the housing.
Before starting scanning, it is recommended to make sure that the battery is properly secured and has sufficient charge for the planned work.
Battery Charging
To recharge the battery, connect it to the appropriate charging adapter using a cable. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. The current battery status can be monitored using the light indicator.
Before starting data collection, XGRIDS recommends checking the charge level. To begin operation, it is advisable that it is at least 51%.
When the remaining charge drops to 10%, the system issues a warning. After that, it is recommended to save the collected data and finish scanning before the device shuts down automatically.
Battery Lifespan and Storage Conditions
The estimated battery lifespan is approximately 300–500 charge-discharge cycles. After this number of cycles, its capacity may decrease to 70–80% of the original capacity.
To maintain the battery in working condition, XGRIDS recommends fully charging it after completing daily work. If the battery is not used for an extended period, it should be charged at least once every 3 months.
After deep or complete discharge, the battery should be charged within 3 days. A dry and cool place is recommended for storage.
