Metrology-grade Laser 3D Scanner KSCAN Magic II

The KSCAN Magic II is an enhanced version of Scanology’s hybrid infrared and blue-laser 3D scanner, engineered for high-precision metrological applications and improved scanning efficiency.

Equipped with dual HD industrial cameras, it supports five flexible scanning modes:

  • Wide-area scanning using 11 parallel infrared laser lines
  • High-speed scanning with 13 blue laser crosses
  • Ultra-detailed scanning via 7 parallel blue lasers
  • Deep-hole scanning using a single blue laser line
  • Integrated wide-area photogrammetry capabilities

Compared to the original KSCAN Magic, the Magic II offers:

  • Increased scanning speed: up to 4,150,000 points per second (vs. 2,700,000)
  • Maintained high accuracy of 0.020 mm, with volumetric precision enhanced to 0.010 mm + 0.015 mm/m when using MSCAN-L15
  • Consistent detail resolution of 0.010 mm
  • Large scanning area of 1440 × 860 mm, expandable to 3760 × 3150 mm with photogrammetry
  • Depth of field of 925 mm (extending to 2500 mm in photogrammetry mode)
