Scanning in any circumstances
Simscan offers true portability and independence from external circumstances and conditions such as space dimensions for maneuvers or environment temperature.
Thanks to its small dimensions of only 203 × 80 × 44 mm, it fits easily in your hand palm. Thus, you have access to scan hard-to-reach and small volumes with an excellent volumetric accuracy of up to 0.020 mm + 0.035 mm/m. The manufacturer claims that the device is capable of scanning in a wide temperature range from -10 to +40 °C.
Excellent scanning speed
Scanology Simscan is cleverly captures every detail of the surface geometry and builds a 3D model in a very short time. This is thanks to 30 cross laser projections, a wide-angle Ultra HD camera, a large frame area of 410 × 400 mm and measurements of up to 2,020,000 pixels per second. The aerospace-class interface provides high-speed data transfer.
One hand control
The device is well balanced in terms of weight and performance. With small dimensions of 203 × 80 × 44 mm and a weight of only 570 g, it can be operated with only one hand. Simscan also has multi-function buttons that allow you to quickly switch between functions and modes. You'll probably also like the ergonomic design of the Simscan's all-metal body with a non-slip surface.
Scanology Simscan scanning modes
Three scanning modes allow you to choose the number of laser lines projected by Simscan. Scan fast, scan detailed and accurate, scan surfaces with deep depressions and holes in the geometry:
- Ultra-fast (Ultra-fast) scanning
- Hyperfine scanning
- Deep hole scanning.
Strict Calibration Services
Scanology has a dedicated ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory. The laboratory is staffed by certified technicians to perform calibration in accordance with the ISO 17025 accreditation rules for Scanology 3D scanners.
Calibration and acceptance testing of SIMSCAN 3D scanners are based on the JJF 1951 specification and the VDI/VDE 2634 standard. The 3D scanners in this range will have fully traceable and globally recognized accuracy certificates.
