Revopoint Trackit SR Standard Edition is a professional optical 3D scanning system consisting of a handheld Scanner and a Tracker module. During operation, the Tracker determines the scanner’s position in space in real time, allowing marker-free 3D scanning directly on the object surface in Tracking Mode. Optical Tracking and Marker-Free 3D Scanning
With the Revopoint Trackit SR Standard Edition, the position of the handheld Scanner in Tracking Mode is determined by the Tracker, which monitors its movement in the working space in real time. This makes it possible to scan an object without applying markers directly to its surface. This workflow is especially convenient for large parts, automotive components, complex surfaces, and objects where applying markers is undesirable.
Markers are required only in specific scanning scenarios. In Marker Scan Mode, when the Scanner is used without the Tracker, markers help correctly align captured frames. During Multi-position Scan, they can also serve as common reference points for merging data after repositioning the Tracker.
The Trackit SR Standard Edition includes 20 magnetic markers and 200 adhesive markers, allowing the scanning workflow to be adapted to the size, geometry, and characteristics of a particular object.
Three Trackit SR Laser Scanning Modes
Fine Mode with 30 Crossed Laser Lines
Fine Mode is designed for fast and detailed geometry capture. Thirty crossed blue laser lines help digitize small features, contours, and complex surfaces. In Tracking Mode, this mode is also suitable for scanning black, metallic, and reflective parts without applying markers directly to the object.
Far Mode with 17 Parallel Laser Lines
Far Mode is intended for larger parts and surfaces that are more convenient to scan from a greater distance. The working distance is 250–500 mm. Seventeen parallel blue laser lines are suitable for quickly digitizing large objects and surfaces with relatively few distinctive geometric features.
Deep Hole Mode with a Single Blue Laser Line
Deep Hole Mode is designed for scanning recessed areas, narrow zones, grooves, and deep holes. A single blue laser line helps capture geometry in areas where multi-line scanning modes may have difficulty reaching the surface. The working distance is 200–400 mm.
3D Scanning Accuracy and Speed
Revopoint Trackit SR Standard Edition provides Scanner single-frame accuracy of up to 0.02 mm. The volumetric accuracy of the optical tracking system is 0.025 mm + 0.04 mm × L (m), where L corresponds to the working distance.
The maximum scanning speed reaches 2,000,000 points/s, allowing rapid acquisition of 3D data from parts and extended surfaces. The Tracker operates at a distance of 800–2500 mm and provides a tracking volume of up to 3 m³. The Scanner working distance depends on the selected laser mode and ranges approximately from 200 to 500 mm.
Wireless Operation and Mobility
Trackit SR supports Wi-Fi 6, allowing the Scanner and Tracker to transmit data to a computer without a permanent wired connection. This is particularly convenient when scanning vehicles, large parts, and other objects that require the operator to move freely around them.
The Scanner operates from a removable battery with a stated runtime of up to 2.5 hours. The Standard Edition includes two batteries and a charger. If necessary, the Scanner can also be used independently of the Tracker in a marker-based scanning mode.
Revo Track for Scanning and 3D Model Processing
The primary software for the Revopoint Trackit SR Standard Edition is Revo Track. It is used to control scanning, calibrate the system, process captured 3D data, edit models, and export them for further use.
Supported formats include PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF, and FBX, allowing captured geometry to be transferred to software for 3D modeling, reverse engineering, and other manufacturing or engineering tasks.
Revo Measure, Ball Plate, and CMM accessories are not included with the Standard Edition. They are intended for the Trackit SR CMM Edition package.
