iReal 2E uses the technology of three sets of invisible light sources, 3 groups of cameras and 3 sets of auxiliary light sources.

The iReal 2E 3D scanner uses the Super HD texture capture algorithm to obtain high-precision 3D models of objects of various textures, sizes and geometries without applying special labels to the surface. It has an enlarged field of view that can be programmatically expanded to a size of 850 × 800 mm. This enables smoother scanning, giving the device more information about the scanned object. And for different scanning situations, iReal 2E has mixed alignment modes available. The scanner reads data at a speed of 1,500,000 points per second and produces accurate images in both light and dark environments.

High-quality color 3D data can be created by projecting color information onto the captured digital data. To obtain good quality color information, Scanology's color 3D scanners eliminate gloss problems and hair scanning difficulties, and VCSEL structured infrared light provides the safest and most convenient 3D scanning process.
