Scanology SimScan 42 3D Scanner with Integrated Scanning Software
The Scanology SimScan 42 is the most powerful version in the SimScan series, offering superior scanning speed, extended scan range, and unmatched detail capture — all while maintaining the same compact dimensions and portable design as previous models.
Built for professional metrology applications, the SimScan 42 features 17 crossed blue laser lines for ultra-fast scanning, 7 parallel lines for hyperfine detail, and a separate laser for deep-hole inspections. It achieves a data acquisition speed of up to 2,800,000 points per second and maintains a precision of up to 0.020 mm — the same as the SimScan 22, but with significantly more coverage and speed.
The scan range has been increased to 700 × 600 mm, with a stand-off distance of 300 mm and depth of field of 550 mm, making it ideal for larger and more complex surfaces. Like other SimScan models, it requires no surface preparation and handles shiny, dark, or reflective objects with ease.
The scanner meets global safety standards with its Class II blue laser and comes with the ScanViewer software suite, optimized for high-volume and high-resolution data processing.
